Dick Clark, I beg you, do not host New Years Eve next year. The first year I saw you after your stroke I thought it was sentimental to see you on Television and it signaled the passing of an era to me. This year when I saw you it was semi horrific. I think it was depressing and I felt bad trying to understand what you were saying.
It’s just not cool. People get old and we can’t and shouldn’t do some of the things we used to do. It happens to all of us. Dick, You had a good life and should be out in the crowd if you want to participate in New years eve. Your time for full show mainstream broadcasting has passed my friend.
Please let me celebrate next year without having to have pity and frustration or deal with explaining why it sounds like the ghost of Johnny Cash took over your body and drank a gallon of whiskey then went on TV.
